
In volume 1 titled "Decision Making: Key Tools for Environmentally Responsible Business Management," the importance of agroecological practices such as the use of nitrogen-fixing bacteria and phytoremediation technologies to mitigate pollution problems is addressed. This issue is also addressed through appropriate decision making in logistics activities such as transportation networks for environmentally responsible management. This is a source of pollution in rural and urban areas dependent on fossil energy. Despite prevention efforts, pollution and its health effects are unavoidable. Ultrasound is evaluated as a diagnostic method for the population exposed to pollutants.
